What Am I Wearing?

Cardigan, Charity Shop (Orginially from Zara), £9

T-shirt, Topshop, £18

Shorts, Topshop, £30

Tights, Primark, £3

Inspiration today?

This outfit was heavily inspired by Alexa Chung when I saw this outfit in a magazine. I loved the chunky cardigan with the simple printed top, with the addition of tights for warmth!

Hair Inspiration?

The camera doesn't show it but my hair is in a messy bun, fairly high.

How did you choose your outfit?

Mostly inspired by this outfit, I teamed clothing that was similar to recreate the look.

What are you doing today?

Hanging out with friends at home.

Saturday

What Am I Wearing?

Jumper, Beyond Retro, £8
Jeans, H&M, £14

Inspiration today?

The 80's! I'm a big fan of the 80's and would like to build up my wardrobe with more crazy jumpers like this haha! The jumper is also a little darker than this, but it came across really bright. Simple pair of black jeans balances the patterened top.

Hair Inspiration?

My hair is frizzy although it's not shown because the camera started to act dodgy ¬_¬. It is remiscent of Madonna's hair in the 80's, although much more frizzy!:

How did you choose your outfit?

Again, started with the jumper as the statement piece.

What Am I doing today?

Going out to visit relatives.

Friday

What Am I Wearing?

Distressed Denim Jacket, River Island, £20
Jumper, Retromanina, £15
Leggings, H&M, £6
Boots, Ash, £35 (Same as on Thursday)
Scarf, My Sister's
Inspiration today?
During the A/W fashion, cableknits were featured a lot and I became quite fond of it. I had seen this jumper in a retrostore and immediately loved it. The inspiration today was from my friends who also have wolly jumpers and wore it with random items. I kept it fairly simple today, and wore it with a purple scarf for colour.
Hair Inspiration?
My hair got caught in the rain, so it became kinda frizzy although the fringe did have some soft waves for some reason! I kept it in a ponytail for control.
How did you choose your outfit?
I started with the jumper and denim jacket and then just chose a random scarf.
What Am I doing today?
Revision in the library.

Thursday

What Am I Wearing?

Aviator Jacket, Topshop, £53
Jumper, Charity Shop, £3
T-shirt, Topshop, £18
Jeggings, Topshop, £36
Boots, Ash, £35
Headscarf, Beyond Retro, £3

Inspiration today?

It was the glitter jumper, that set off today's outfit. I was inspired by Karen O, who's style of glitter and bold clothes I love although my outfit is much more tamer! I am in the process in changing style so I would of teamed up the outfit with some Dr Martens (on my to buy list) and would like to add more colour/be more adventurous to reflect my ecletcic nature in clothes.

Hair Inspiration?

Again, ponytail with a lovely scarf from Beyond Retro.

How did you choose your outfit?

Once again I was drawn to the glittery gold jumper and threw on random things until I was satisifed. I purposely wanted the scarf to clash to make the outfit more interesting.

What Am I doing today?

Media lesson woo!

Wednesday

What Am I Wearing?

Distressed Denim Jacket, River Island, £20
Floral Dress, Topshop, £35
Leggings, H&M, £6
Brogues, Miss Selfridge, £17
Scarf, My Mum's

Inspiration today?

Soft vs Tough. The floral dress provided a feminine look and the chunky purple scarf while the jacket added an edge to it. The shoes, which are not in the pic for some reason are the brogues I got during the xmas sales.

Hair Inspiration?

Simple ponytail. (My usual hairstyle)

How did you choose your outfit?

I orginally chose the denim jacket first and chose the dress last strangely enough and felt it was a nice contrast. I also consinder wearing Worker's boots but decided to go with the brogues to continue the feminine touch. I borrowed my mum's scarf for colour and warmth.

What Am I doing Today?

Distracting my friend from finishing his UCAS form :P

Tuesday

What Am I Wearing?

Aviator Jacket, Topshop, £53
Jumper, Charity Shop, £3
Leggings, H&M, £6
Brogues, Miss Selfridge, £17
Scarf, Charity Shop (Originally from Accesories), £4.50
Headscarf, Charity Shop, £5

Inspiartion today?

Erm, more comfort than anything else! The jumper was from the men's section and had a nice baggy look to it, that was comfortable and easy to team up with other items. I also wanted to clash and experiment with patterns, so I wore the polka dot scarf and floral print headscarf to add more vibrancy to the outfit.

Hair Inspiration?

I'm quite fond with tying scarfs in my hair, so I wore a scarf tied into a bow. I was first inspired when I saw it on a fashion blog a couple of months ago.

How did you choose yor outfit?

I had chosen the red jumper first, mainly for comfort and just added random items untill I was happy with the outfit.

What are you doing today?

About to head into a revision class.

Monday

What Am I Wearing?

Aviator jacket, Topshop, £53
Leopard Print Dress, Charity shop (Originally from Topshop), £4
Tights, Primark, £3
Pumps, New Look, £10

Inspiration today?

A sort of 60's vibe, especially with the leopard print dress and tights, reminded me of the era. I added the aviator jacket for a more modern, 'toughened' up look, although my cheesy smile probably has the oppisite effect haha!

Hair Inspiration?

Again, the 60's. I tried to create a beehivesque style that came across better than it did in the picture and added smoky eyeliner to complete the look.

How did you choose your outfit?

I wanted to wear the dress since I havent worn it for a while and chose it as a statement piece. The rest I wanted to compliment the outfit with simple black pumps and tights.

What are you doing today?

Going to school. *Sigh*
